Starbucks and the Color Blindness Test Service

Starting April 1st this year, Starbucks began offering a color blindness test using paper cups to care for customers’ eye health. 👀

If you’re not color blind, you can easily spot the number ‘1’ in the pattern of stars on the cup. This initiative is kicking off across the U.S. first, and by next month, it’ll go global. Supported by the ‘EFA’ (Eye Foundation of America) and the ‘DOT’ (U.S. Department of Transportation), this service aims to give color blind individuals a chance to understand their condition better, potentially reducing the number of traffic accidents caused by signal misidentification. 🚦 The U.S. government has high hopes for this.

That’s a fib, but around the time I wrote this, the Starbucks cups in San Francisco had indeed changed designs for the first time in ages. ☕️
