One of my friends had a surprising visitor at her apartment yesterday – a cockroach. She was so shocked that she managed to squash it with a book 📚, but couldn’t bring herself to clean it up. In a moment of desperation, she posted on the local marketplace, ‘Will pay $10 if someone can remove this cockroach,’ and to her relief, a neighbor came over and did just that. 🏠✨
Thinking it was way too risky, another friend and I advised her never to do that again. But she insisted, ‘But cleaning up a cockroach is scarier….’ So, I had to break it down more logically. 🤔
‘Think about it. A complete stranger could walk in, pick up that cockroach, and put it in your mouth…’ I said.
She listened to my wild example and was confident that such a thing would never happen. 😅
