The Next Heartbreak Will Be Easier

Sometimes, you hear stories of heartbreak from others.

There are as many tales of heartbreak as there are stars in the sky 🌟, so all you need to do is listen quietly and nod. Age and experience don’t really help because you can’t experience it like a top 100 chart song that keeps getting renewed. Even if you pretend to know, it’s all tales heard before.

Most people are like dried coffee beans ☕️, sitting quietly until they can unfold their stories, and in doing so, they find their own strength. In such cases, you don’t really have to do anything and yet receive gratitude in return. It’s a win-win.

Occasionally, there’s someone who looks at you as if expecting a story, and in those moments, it feels like standing in front of a blank chalkboard to solve an incredibly tough problem. All I can add is, ‘It’ll get better.’ Of course, it won’t get better easily. But, someday, it definitely will.

Love is like cherry blossoms 🌸; when they bloom so abundantly that you can’t see anything else, you might think it’s all that matters in the world. Even as they scatter like snowflakes, they captivate your heart. But by the time you come to your senses, not a single petal remains on you. Yet, there’s no need to be disappointed, because next year, the cherry blossoms will return in all their glory, enough to make you forget this year.

As spring fades, it begins to warm up, and then the rain comes, followed by a chill in the air as the sun sets. Then the sun blazes like it’s midsummer 🌞, only to turn cloudy again, hiding the depth of the sky. Without realizing, we might be tempered by the seasons, gaining resilience to weather the summer ahead.

Heartbreak, too, becomes familiar with time. In truth, you just get good at pretending it’s familiar…

But you can’t really tell someone that the next heartbreak will be a bit easier, because that sounds more like a curse than advice.

It’s tough. Anyway, summer starts today.
