When I was young, everything seemed crystal clear. I thought I could definitely tell right from wrong, and with that measure, I was unashamed of myself. But as I grow older, I’ve realized the world is way more complicated than I imagined. Every situation comes with its own tags and labels, and as I read through them, I find myself nodding along with every side, leaving me unable to take a stand for anyone. Growing up means
being more cautious,
thinking a lot more,
putting myself in others’ shoes,
exploring different possibilities,
and trying to read between the lines
and ultimately, doing nothing at all
