The rain poured for days. Even when it seemed like it wasn’t raining, tiny droplets danced in the wind like petals in the breeze. 🌧️ Occasionally, there’d be a lull, but the air was always misty. It felt less like a space I moved through and more like a gallery you had to step back to truly see. Gazing out at the world, I listened dreamily to Suzy’s ‘Cape’. At some point, I decided this song was my rainy day anthem.
when the rain is pouring…

‘Did you know Suzy keeps dropping singles?’
My friend said this while recommending more tracks, but this one was my jam. 🎧 I kept it on repeat, waiting for the rain to return. ‘Love is like spring rain, farewell like autumn rain’—I’ve heard that too much. Naturally, even before the rain, this track topped my playlist, setting the mood every time. Since then, every step on my way home has been accompanied by the rhythmic splash of drizzle underfoot.
I wasn’t aware she’d been consistently releasing new music, but after ‘Pretend’, she was more than an idol to me; she was an artist. 🎶 I hope to keep discovering her tunes in the future.
