I have a bit of a fascination with keyboards. It all started when the keyboard I was using broke, and I had to buy my own. I soon realized just how many varieties existed! Over time, I got into the habit of trying out different models. Each type of keyboard switch offers a unique vibe and sound when typing, and finding the one that matches your style is a delightful experience. Among all the keyboards I’ve tried, my old-time favorite remains the electrostatic capacitive keyboard—Happy Hacking Pro 2—which I still use today. 🎹
Recently, while browsing online, I stumbled upon the rainy75 keyboard. Everyone who has tried it seems to be singing its praises. Although I’m not a huge fan of the clicky feel of mechanical keyboards, watching some typing demos on YouTube convinced me to order it without hesitation. It comes with two switch options, and I personally preferred the hefty feel of the WOB switch, so I went for it. In a word:
