On YouTube’s Kkondaehee channel, Winter and Giselle from aespa made an appearance. They were chatting when suddenly Winter pointed out Kim Dae-hee’s accent.
There’s a way real Busan people speak, and then there’s the tone that people from Seoul try to mimic. It feels a bit forced, you know?

Oh, this isn’t quite right. You see, real Busan folks can’t really pronounce Kim Min’jeong’ correctly.
– Okay, Kim Min-jeoyi.
It’s not ‘jeoyi,’ it’s Kim Min’jeong,’ that’s how we say it.
Pretending is easily spotted by those who know. However, since most people don’t, the world is full of pretenders. For someone like me who can’t stand it, this clip was incredibly satisfying. 😌
