
On a day when the rain poured like it was trying to drill through the earth, my junior asked me,
‘Hey, do you know what I hate when it rains?’
– Hmm, not sure?
‘You know, when it rains, the laundry just doesn’t dry…’
– ….
‘That’s the part I don’t like.’
….
People often manage to deal with having a nuclear reactor within a 30-minute walk, or when a confirmed patient roams the streets using public transport, or even when a white police officer arrests an unarmed black person leading to a tragic end. But sometimes, they find themselves getting upset over something as small as laundry not drying properly on a slightly sweaty day. 🌧️
