MagSafe iPhone Leather Card Wallet

Wondering what kind of post would attract lots of people, here’s my first attempt at a user review.

Starting off with a thorough unboxing. The packaging is solid and neat.

Includes a wall mount feature, hence the continued use of plastic. Just shy of meeting ESG standards by 5%.

The box looked nice, but the real thing is even better. No reason why the metaverse won’t work.

Don’t expect Apple stickers (not like you’d stick them anywhere anyway).

Includes a credit card for Apple Pay use (just kidding on this one).

The sample cardboard with holes pushes out easily, but the cards not so much.

Though it’s not AirPods, when attached to the phone, it gets recognized and can be registered on ‘Find My Device’. It even alerts you when it detaches from the main body. Of course, when only the card slips out, no alert.

Transit Card or Speed Gate Key

Due to shielding, you can’t tap your transit card directly on the subway. However, you can detach the wallet and tap through the hole on the back (but this varies with some cards). For building speed gates, you might need to sweep the wallet over the reader like a broom. If it doesn’t work, hold it a bit longer. If still no luck, just take out the card and tap (100% success rate).

A Little Tip

For those used to phone cases that hold cards, you might not think to detach the case from the device. But by simply pulling out the card wallet from your pocket separately, it makes usage three to four times easier (freeing up a hand that used to be tied down by the phone, making even the worst-case scenario of removing a card from the wallet stress-free).

One More Tip,

Not sure if this is a proper tip, but if you find it annoying to remove cards from the wallet in the subway, just buy another cheap MagSafe case from the mall. (More convenient for public transport use)

(Isn’t it thoughtful?)
