A few days ago, she called to celebrate her brother’s birthday. 🎉 But all she heard from the other end was heavy breathing, like ‘huff, huff’. Despite calling out, there was no reply, just the ‘beep beep’ of a disconnected line, followed by a message from her brother on messenger.
‘I have a sore throat, can’t talk. Let’s text.’
She called back and shouted to her voiceless brother.
‘I can’t text because my fingers are sore from arthritis!’
After hanging up, she realized that when a person with a sore throat and someone with arthritic fingers are far apart, chatting is impossible. It left her feeling so empty that she couldn’t focus on anything for quite some time. 💔
Why not just use a voice keyboard….
