I got into a bike accident. 🚴💥 As I was leaving the apartment and riding down the street, a car darted out from an alley and hit my right side. Both the bike and I went flying, leaving me crashing to the ground.

A Perfect Weather Day
The weather was absolutely amazing. On the first day stepping into autumn, I felt like I wanted to drift all the way to the ends of the earth on the breeze that felt like a different temperature.

Life can be dull and a series of pains, but looking back, wounds healed and pain eventually disappeared. New skin grew over scars I thought would never heal, and unexpected moments of joy appeared.

Once the chill arrived, every day of autumn felt like an unexpected gift. Before the streets, like a leap day, freeze over, I stepped out to walk briskly. As the wind swept through the main road, leaves fell from the trees lining the street, fluttering down like petals. 🍂

A Bonus Fall
When it was light enough to recognize shapes, I stepped out, and the air was surprisingly warm. Suddenly, I thought, ‘Is this the season operator’s last fall experience service for people like me?’ I guess autumn is the sponsor.

Stolen Autumn
In 2015, Christmas Eve was snatched away from me. I boarded a flight to Australia from San Francisco on December 23, and the International Date Line stole that year’s Christmas Eve from me. As a result, 2015 was devoid of Christmas Eve tree-lighting ceremonies and the fireworks at Darling Harbour.
